I forgot how annoying this woman was. This clip reminded me.
Louis is such a chick in this show…goddamn…
This scene is everything I've ever felt over a lifetime of relationships combined in to 5min of truth

Kinda hate to say it but Bobby’s right.
Bobby Hill is right ✅️ 🙌
She never wanted to be in a relationship. She wants a thing stereotypically belonging to the male world, to be free. That's why this scene might look a bit weird/unusual since this is not something you can often hear out of a female's mouth. Freedom can be wild/dangerous/challenging/, it can be tough, but at the end of the day, it always brings an element of unpredictability which makes it fun and terrifying at the same time. It's entertaining.
He always longed for a relationship. He doesn't mind a predictable environment because he feels safe in it. He wants something that might resemble a typically female thing, a warm home. He might be in the mood for fun every now and then, but deep down, he loves routine. He understands that certain things in life, especially the good/worthy ones, require routine, plenty of hard work, constant dedication. And that's exactly what makes a relationship not so fun and actually pretty boring most of the time after a while because it's a lot of sweating for keeping the things from falling apart.
This is a non-stop internal struggle most of us have, two paths that can't be walked at the same time. The problem is, while we are walking the one, we often think about the other, which means that we are never fully present and in the moment. What's even worst is that we often tend to fall for the exact opposite personalities and then we try to either domesticate a wild animal or make a rock star out of someone who was never meant to play rock in the first place.
I have a deep hatred of Pamela Adlon. Deep down all the way to the smallest cells in my pinky toenail. My ancestors hate her and my children’s great grandchildren will hate her.

She sounds just like me!!!
"Yaaaaasssssssssss………"
0:43 i love her she is one of the funniest characters in TV history
Wow, she's fun on a date…😅
The producers were smart to pick Pam for this part. She learned a lot from her role in Californication.
I do the Pam speech and it just seems to scare most women off, oh well, that's how I want it and I won't change.
Loved Pamela since "Californication", she's a great cokey smurf
6 years later, and I am still looking for a woman like this. Can we just be together when we are together and that be enough?
That was fantastic.
This show is soooooo depressing
I agree with her so much I'm not sure if this is just a parody of my personality type or a legitimate point of view.
Casting for this seen like yehh we need a ladie with massive knockers who is willing to have parmasan grated in there cleeve
Louis CK is a brilliant writer.
I got a la nothing
this is out from the realm of comedy but more of realistic philosophy
Louie wanted to fall in love. If he wanted just sex he knew he could of had what he had and never mentioned moving in. Think back to the doc. "The heart break is part of love, when you don't feel anything it's when you know you're empty". Love sucks sure, but the feeling itself the entire point is to FEEL. They both knew this, one decided to try again, the other gave up.
“We’ll do you wanna-“
“YAAAAAAAAAAAAASSS.”
She is right, my friend. Don't get married. Just have fun on the side.
This is a really great argument for an open relationship, but it's primarily sex focused.
As someone who's been in two relationships (not an expert, but yeah).
Sex is considerable a very small part of it, at least for me. It's fun, but what matters most is you've got them,
and you know they got you. This is something that Paula or whatever obviously doesn't get, or she just thinks it's bullshit.
I genuinely think this idea of open relationships is a bad one. She's a good character, but Louie should have just left her as soon
as she said she wanted to bone other people.
Bobby hill
Shes cool, but shes really turning me off in this scene
one of my fav shows of all time. Hits home way to hard. Louis is one of the greatest psychologist of our period, the modern proust
Never liked that women…
When a woman gives an unambiguous signal that she doesn't want what you want, LISTEN TO HER. Trying to argue logically that she should feel the same as you is a waste of time and energy.
This speaks to me personally. Amazingly insightful.
run this against seinfeld when george and seinfeld both decide to marry their gals. (and kramer's view)
this is off the chart stuff louie.
A wise man once told me to indulge in the art of enjoying the permanent impermanence. Best advice ever.
Love this scene.
these women are nonexistent.
So funny 😂
4:15 That "YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS" fricken killed me 😂😂😂
Damn I miss this show
Why is this filmed like a Guy Ritchie's movie ?
Look up louis ck relationships he's said this before…. this is a more In depth view of it … Louis wants to push it and pam is saying why push it to where it's not enjoyable.
Aren’t American women great?
whatevery couple sex thing
